And from the perspective of a reader, he FAILED to sell the hype of calamities to us... go on and read people in this forum or other communities, and you’ll notice how dumb your comment sounds...
Cause literally a good amount of readers aren’t looking at calamities as impressive... based on what was drawn so far

Freaking Kanjuro was more effective than all 3 calamities combined by taking out TWO Scabbards (Kiku/Asura)! and you’re telling me Oda did great with calamities and just belittle our perspective by saying “nerds comments”

Queen had the most screen time out off all the calamities & during those times he was hype to be a beast /strong foe, yes he has a goofy side but that doesn't take away his strength, like luffy shanks roger all have goofy sides but it doesn't affect there power, when it's time to get serious they do, the hype for queen is impressive on oda part

Queen went up against Big mom & took her atttacks & wasn't damage plus his name attack KO her,

Queen plague bullets would have ended the war if it wasn't for chopper, plus he was able to stop zoro & luffy from heading to the roof,

Queen literally took all of Marco's names attack & was clean afterwards & continue to take damage on that, the entrance sanji made on queen with a new attack, while using him to stop perospero arrows, & yet after all that queen is still up & going , the hype is reall for sanji v queen :cheers:

I disagree completely, Queen is the most competent, he is goofy for sure but the plot just doesn't help him. thats why he got all that screentime while King did nothing but kick the boat of an old crazy hag and now fights Marco, who treated him and Queen basicly as equal treats.

If you compare him to Doffy in Dressrosa he’ll obviously not be as hyped- Doffy was the main arc villain and Luffy’s fight, not Sanji’s.

As a Sanji villain he’s the most hyped opponent he‘s ever had.

Queen is the most fun and charismatic calamity by far. And about Strenght Hype, Oda failed with Jack(punch bag) and King(nothing impressive to a guy supposed to be in the same level of Katakuri) too.

However, they haven't shown us their full strength yet. When Queen turns in Hybrid and start spanking Sanji don't cry. This fight will be extremely important for Sanji's character, besides that we may have important information about the lineage factor, akumas no mi and maybe even Vegapunk. Of course Oda can troll us and the whole dialogue is based on Judge's son things . But let's hope

This is weird. It's not that Queen vs Sanji is not hyped, is only that Queen itself is not hyped. You should correct your title first.

Also, Sanji wasn't being impressive until RS. So it fits Queen not being impressive until now(I hope).

Can't blame sanji fans for lacking the 2 brain cells needed to notice that the ''judge's son'' line was foreshadowing for their fight

Not only that but queen himself said its smart to take out their 1st and 2nd strongest. Right now he thinks Sanji is #1

So even when zoro gets up Queen won't got for him because he thinks he's #2 & only reason he believes he should probably stick with sanji is because of judge.

The son of someone Queen knows AND considered to be the strongest of the crew based on bounty.

And like other people have already said, Queen is the best opponent Sanji has to date- he's charismatic, good feats (faced big mom), and is the most lovable in the OP community compared to the rest of the Calamities.

Cheer up and look at it this way- at least Queen on paper has a higher bounty than katakuri, the same Katakuri that Sanji fans wanted as Sanji's opponent back in WCI.

It's already quite good for sanji- meanwhile Robin has to share her only Second (yes you heard that right) fight in the entire series with Brook.

Compared to Robin and Brook vs Black Maria, Sanji vs Queen 1v1 isn't starting to look so bad now is it?

They were waiters and pleasures, he was right to call them expendable. The only way it would come back to haunt him is if the Yonko team loses, and at that point no amount of subordinates would matter
