General & Others Oda, my guy, you can't be serious lmao

From phone couldn't see it, bizarre.
Yeah, another example why the whole Wano storyline is handled like crap. I really don't understand why it was so bad.
And also, I really like this idea of Tama being a Kurozumi, but.. Seriously, couldn't we have that instead of pointless shit that padded Wano endlessly, specially the first half.

The best part of wano was not written becouse oda doesnt give a shit
No you don't understand, we had to see pointless useless shit again and again to enstablish that Kaido was bad instead of deepening extremely shallow characters that are useless and take an incredible amount of panels.
To this day, I don't remember the names of most of the red scabbards, nor most of secondary characters in Wano.
I admit I was younger at the times, like 9 years ago, but I could at least name the side characters in every arc.

Oh for fucks sakes, Oda is saying if you pay attention to Hiyoris story, you would realize SHE believes only Orochi should burn. Shes not the type who would hold O-Tama responsible for the sins of their family, as that's exactly what happened to her family.

That's just Hiyori, but how would others react if they found out about Tama being a Kurozumi. It's an issue that not only plagues our World, but one that plagues the One Piece World.

It's gotten so bad, that even Oda is starting to tell fans to pay more attention.... :kobeha:

"So two chapters left, then Wano is over, and we start a one month break. Rip awakening. Rip ZKK. Rip Zoros lineage. Rip Ryuma back story. Rip Kaido back story. Rip Ashura Doji and Izo. Rip the 40 other plot threads left open."

It is what it is at this point. I was annoyed by a lot of plot threads left open at the time of Wano's ending. Now I'm over it. Not going to dwell on things that have no bearing on the overall story. They'd have been cool to see at the time, but affect nothing moving forward.

This is probably Oda's biggest fault, lost the focus on what he opened to focus on what he cares. Sadly, Wano was for Oda a way to try new things, and instead he opened stuff and never actually went back to it.
Except the Zoro stuff that was overblown by the fanbase, and Kaido backstory that I hope will be expanded in a Rock's flashback (otherwise yeah, adding it to the list), Oda made a mess.
It's not a case that Onigashima, where he went back to its bread and butter it was much easier to follow and more coherent.
Wano is a mess.

Tbf, some of it still can be addressed later on. Ryuuma/Zoro (and maybe his lineage with his family) for example when the Void Century lore happens, since it seems both Luffy and Zoro have parallel relevance with that. Same with Rocks/God Valley. In hindsight people may not even give a shit if Kaido's FB was skipped if its addressed in a more relevant FB.

The ones that are harder to understand why Oda skipped (Izo/Kiku, Tama/Kurozumi, etc) may still get addressed in a Yamato/Wano coverstory, but just seemingly less likely at this point.

No BP having awakening (or obviously showing it) is pretry nonsensical though, and still makes little sense even if Kaido/BM came back and showed it off.

To be honest, I think Kaido and Big Mom not having awakening could make sense provided how it turns out awakening is unlocked.

If it's what is implied, and a person needs to be pushed to the brink of death in order to awaken, then it explains why neither of them have it, as neither of them have ever been brought to that point. That is, until now, with both of them being buried at the bottom of a Volcano. This could he the catalyst that actually allows them to awaken, and escape from their volcanic tomb.

That's if that's the route Oda chooses to go. If it turns out awakening is brought about a different way, then it'll forever be head scratching as to why they don't have it.

Nah, you just overblown kaido backstory. No need to expand it. You just overblown the stuff.
