They are dissapointing till now they are not menacing or threating
Crocodile or Doflamingo had way more menacing vibe then those dumb Yonkos.

Big Mom is the worst from all she is just a clown even Luffy doesnt take her seriously and sees her as an nuisance or lil fly

For all intents and purposes, Oden got one-shot and he was stronger than Kaido. Magellan one-shot the entire BBPs and they came back to beat the crap out of him.

"One shot" doesn't mean anything without the proper context: Luffy's CoO wasn't working. That allowed for a clean hit, of Kaido's signature move that KOed even Oden. If he remains calm, he won't be one shot.

Even Katakuri could have one shot Luffy if his CoO didn't work

Like I told people, Boundman by itself was already Top Tier in Dressrosa. Luffy was "YC1" simply because of the 30 min time limit. It's time to start accepting reality. There is no asspull here. With unlimited Snakeman/Boundman, Luffy was stronger than all the commanders.

He would still be one-shot if Kaido lands his attack even if he used fs to dodge many hits back then

Oden was never above Kaido.
The dude never pushed Kaido to use hybrid or named attacks and kokabeven.

Oden equalled only Base Kaido at best, was slightly above dragon Kaido.

Oden was using haki and swords while Kaido used his club once in the war and it KOed him straight
Oden can't overpower or land hits on base Kaido.

1. Empty hype and cowardly state of power.

Let's hype everyone in double spread silhouette, give them ultra-powerful titles and badass design, and then lets degrade them all by PTSD and a mom's photo and who knows what else is coming for other powerlevel-hyped chars. And while we fans can bicker against each other, let's make the powerlevel comparison between each characters always getting more and more vague with each battles and scenes.

2. Bratty characters with no growth and the world with no consequences

Luffy is getting more absurdly immature compared to pre-TS. He doesnt care the consequence of his actions, his attitude doesn't get serious except at the final battles for shonen shouting. Even against the top players. Getting a timeskip, he definitely should think and play his actions based on the possibility of the consequences like his nakama getting tortured or raped or mentally destroyed, but he just doesn't care. And the world just keep spoiling him, providing none of those consequences whatsoever.

Well, op is shonen so oda can't bring things like rape, murder, gore into one piece(hence op is famous and has so many fans) , however there were actually some serious consequences between saboady and the end of marineford just like, luffy losing 20 years of his life, and the scar from akainu, ace and wb dying etc,

The strawhats not being the main focus of the story anymore (except Luffy of course)

You have this awesome group of 9-10 main characters that have a strong bond towards each other, are well-rounded characters with different personality traits and are all at least likeable (imo). Then you split them up for 200+ chapters and instead of focusing on the attending ones, you create several other random characters nobody really cares about anyway. Examples: the Tontattas, Udon Prison, Wano in general, the minks (but they actually were awesome and relevant to the later plot so they're not that bad).

The strawhats are one of One Piece's strongest aspects, but Oda seems to not care about them that much anymore. One of the main reasons why I actually liked the first part of WCI was because it focused on the SHs. Sanji, Nami, Brook...they all had their moments of suffering, but also awesomeness.

That and Oda's inability to kill off characters...If Ace revives, I swear I will lose my mind

oda clearly suggested that oden is stronger than kaido, oden is the representative of Japan in one piece, he won't be weaker than kaido
kaido does not use hybrids because: oda kept it secret until the last moment in the match with luffy to increase the drama, this happened too much , should not use mechanical logic in one piece because oda didn't write story like that

I think bringing Sabo back and giving him the Mera Mera was okay. Not a good decision, but not bad either. Besides, it would be a waste if a cool power like that doesn't see it being utilized to its fullest extent like Goro Goro or Suna Suna.

My only gripe with him is giving the crew their last 1 on 1 nearly 10 years ago in Fishman Island (and not even the women at that, which sucked since he could easily make them clap two named characters instead of making Robin one-shot a forgettable fodder and Nami one-shot a nameless underling of fodders). Like, there's no reason to do that, at fucking all.

Obviously, I hope it gets rectified this arc. I don't give a fuck if SH's middle trio and weak trio fight do not fight F6 and instead fight even veterans on the level of Daifuku or even Sheepshead, just give them all a 1 vs 1 already and don't fucking push them aside in the biggest motherfucking war in the series so far!

The last real 1-vs-1 with all the crewmembers involved happened almost 14 years ago at Enies Lobby.

If we're being very generous we could make a case for Thriller Bark 13 years ago, but only Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Usopp had real 1-vs-1s.

FI was a one-sided beatdown. Nobody was even challenged.
