Aokiji wb pirates(was he even serious)
Kizaru, wb pirates.
Mihawk wasn't even serious because of Shanks relationship with luffy
Plot armor was all a build up.

Ace was Luffy's brother is known to us since alabasta it was not known to us in Impel Down or marineford
During sabody Rayleigh saved them because he was in sabody & had met strawhats before(otherwise Zoro would have died first)
Zoro was saved by rayleigh will you also call that a plot armour.
& yes nobody gives a damn about saving pacifista.
How can wb pirates let Ace's brother die.
WB himself recognised his true potential after he used conquerors haki.

An author creates a dangerous situation for the protagonist to overcome. It's the same author who created the so-called strongest fighters who created the Luffy, he created them stronger than him so Luffy have challenge to overcome... he can't just create every opponent weaker than Luffy so Luffy just goes around beat guys and claim the title without a struggle.
If Oda choose the route where everything is simple like, main character not facing anything bad situation, Luffy coming out stronger than everyone from the start then there will be no story to follow, will just bunch of crap

Are you sure the attack hit them? did you check this or clarify it? Are you sure despite being admirals they can't have attacks that have weaker AP? Are you sure that they wanted to kill them?
If Rayleigh wasnt a character with proper background (he was the right hand of Roger) I would be ok with calling it plot armor tbh.

What you call in Marineford is called acknowledgment. WB acknowledged Luffy will and decide to put his trust for new generation of pirates in him, it's nothing new even in real life people do that... saving people they barely know or putting a great deal of trust.
Rayleigh made his first debut in Sabaody and in Sabaody he helped them at the same time... while we know from the way back about whitebead pirates.

Guys, are we really this stupid? Stop arbitrarily slapping cheap labels like "plot armor" onto everything instead of taking into account the actual context.

Plot armor only applies if theres no in-universe explanation for the character's survival. Rayleigh isnt saving the strawhats because of "plot". But because it is within his character to do so.
