Hot take, but id rather these updates than spending 2 years in an arc before seeing them. Now that they are more directly relevant to the endgame, its better this way. Plus we have more to talk about weekly.

I think it really fits well.
Kid has a grudge against the RHP and Kid was searching for the man marked by flames probably Saul .
Kid facing the RHP was only a matter of time.

But it doesnt address plot/narrative content. These fights may have been set up for some time:

- BB, Law and Koby were part of the Rocky Port incident. If we are going to Fullalead next and if Law is captured or loses, then itll be relevant.

- Kid has history with Shanks and Kid is also looking for someone, possibly on Elbaf (i.e. Saul?). If/when he loses, it doesnt mean hes irrelevant when the crew goes to Elbaf.

Ideally Fullalead and Elbaf are the next 2 arcs (though not where BB and Shanks fall), so it makes sense

TBH, I like the crew as it is right now. Bonney *could* join, but I like that every Straw Hat joined before the timeskip besides Jimbei who went thru hell alongside Luffy and reminded him of what he had left, which were his nakama.

What updates? SvK will go the way of LvB, half a chapter and then goodbye. We'll find out about the outcome in 2 years when Robin will pick up a newspaper.
