Zoro is stronger than Kidd. Zoro trained with Mihawk = Shanks Yonko for 2 years, what a Kidd, he swam for 2 years and did not defeat anyone strong, only lost. The moment with Apoo is proof, Zoro with 1 katana smoo turned off Apoo for a few seconds, and Kidd showed only 1 reception in the whole manga and he could not turn off Apoo. Kidd may die in this war

He was encouraged by Kidd, reunited with his captain and his crew, got back his proper weapons, and is fighting against the man who brought this torment on him, his friends, his captain, instead of chasing an innocent woman as Orochis lap dog.

so he's motivated now, cool. But he's still laughing, so why would it be such a nerf vs Zoro, but now mean nothing?
