Luffy and Zoro have not been given the same level of stakes with direct confrontation against Kaido.

I still think that kaido Will body the SN, and zoro Will be the last one standing then the help comes.
When It comes zoro will leave the stage carrying them for somewhere safe for them to recover and king Will try to kill them and zoro Will protect them and fight king.
Thats what i think will happen, and i still see him giving kaido the kiling hit after he learned more about Emma in the fight against king.

I’m only saying that people are biased as hell. The people who have the most direct conflict with kaido is killer and Kidd.
