Oda can subvert the prophecy and have Yamato play a pivotal role in Kaido's defeat regardless, but Yamato wasn't included in Oden's prophecy. Not unless Oda chose to be deliberately deceptive.

Yamato is part of the new gen, and strong enough so don't see why she can't be a part of the group that takes down Kaido.

It has nothing to do with Yamato's strength, even then in the past her base form fought on par with Ace. It's the simple fact that Kaido is her father and it would be a waste of time to pit her against a calamity when there's Kaido.

Ehh, that's assuming a lot of things.

Ace and Jinbe were equal and Jinbe is stuck fighting WsW. I assume hybrid Yamato is significantly stronger for sure, but that doesn't mean she can't have a high diff fight with Jack who hasn't shown his hybrid either.

We'll see what happens but Im still banking on signficant main characters fighting the calamities, just as with the F6.
