As I said, it’ll depend on what blackens a blade. I personally don’t think it’s power based. I think it’s when the swords will is achieved. We know that swords can hold the dreams of previous wielders so maybe killing orochi, maybe opening wano, maybe when Kaido is defeated the swords will will iron itself into a black blade.

It may be the case that Oda just retconned the fuck out of awakening. Random Zooans in Impel Down having awakening doesn't reconcile with the fact that only end of arc of villains in the New World have shown awakening so far.

I think Kaido will temporarily be knocked out soon, and then he'll come back because of awakening.

Downplayed haters said Zoro sneak attacked Apoo

Haters said Zoro was being portrayed as inferior to the captains as he was grouped with killer. Was ridiculed for not deeply wounding Kaido on his first attack with his other swords lmao and especially Enma.

This time he was grouped with the captains but got his Hiryu Kaen downplayed due to enma, slicing off the horn of the giant onigashima skull. He made Kaido dodge as big mom warned him off the tremendous danger of that attack haters ridiculed Zoro for missing without Kaido moving a muscle in his dragon form

Kept saving his captain this entire chapter who was out of commission countered Kaido dragon twister with his own nullifying the attack, kaido laughed bemused by the fact zoro was competing with him, haters made it look like he was ridiculing zoro instead. Later he finally cuts Kaido and retrieves back his captain who was about to be eaten. Haters downplayed it saying Zoro only cut him with Enma although he used all his swords as a three sword style user.

We return to the roof after a while yet again Zoro is still clowned by haters for asking simply the question on how they could win and being out of breath fighting two yonkos.

And lastly we have the current chapter lmao the thread speaks for itself, maybe because his fans are too passionate but zoro is definitely that character that unites all fandoms against him

Think Luffy passed Oden when he learned Adv CoC.
Don't think Zoro is that far behind, his CoA is top tier. Ashura made a cut so deep that Kaido can't heal it.

Even though Zoro used ashura, his finisher, his isolated attack for a single moment in the fight, he still couldn't replicate Oden's Togen Totsuka feat. Santoryu Zoro would still be washed by Oden. I interpreted the distance to be great from that.

But once Zoro has mastered his CoC / ashura, then he can be someone worthy of comparing himself with Oden.

Old gen: Kaido and Big Mom

Current gen: Shanks and Blackbeard

New gen: Luffy and Kidd

Wano and the whole Yonko Saga is literally about the new gen surpassing the old one. Kaido and Big Moms era will fall along with them at the end of this arc. :cheers:

People say that Kid has no allies and lands, so he won't be yonko. But if he murders Big Mom and takes her to the country of Elbaf, he will have as allies the most powerful race and owner of the most powerful land in the new world.

Before Oda can develop Zoro further and take his strength to another level he wanted to show us where he is at. That way we can better understand his growth. We know, from this chapter, that Zoro is strong enough to leave a permanent scar on Kaido in an injured and weaken state. That was just one of many impressive feats.

Prometheus probably told Big Mom to keep Napoleon hidden for a surprise attack.

Kid, Killer, and Hawkins will fight Big Mom. She will only use Prometheus against them. Napoleon hides.
When the fight intensifies and the three of them are focused on Big Mom, Napoleon will show up for a surprise attack and stabs Killer in the back. I think he'll choose to stab Killer because he was the one that attacked him. Killer dies.
Kid will snap and beat Big Mom with Hawkin's help. Then Big Mom pirates will show up and defeat Kid and Hawkins. The fight will probably take place near the coast so it won't be difficult for the Big Mom Pirates to find them.
