This, plus we have like 4 additional opportunities for the "perfect" villain or antagonist. Blackbeard, Akainu, Im or Shanks can all play the role of being the perfect, endgame foil for Luffy.

Let Kaido and BM be the essentric, ridiculous characters that they are. I personally love the idea of this, even if I have some issues about its execution. Let's see where it goes

What's insane is that the arguments about matchups with the F6 reveals started literally a year ago. Its been a full year since the raid started.

A full year and Sanji or Chopper and potentially even Zoro doesn't have their actual matchups yet. A full year and we get moments like Big Mom 1 shotting Page 1 who may or may not get up again to fight just so Oda can display the recovery ability they have.

They aren't, even Akainu that is taken super seriously during the crucial moments have his moments where he let people that should have been catpured or killed effortlessly by him escape alive and free.

This is a battle shonen, POWER =THREAT to protagonist. The best villains (Meruem, Freeza, Sensui) were overwhelming opponents strength wise. None of them were jobbers meant to make other people look strong. Even Sasuke in the EOS was by far the strongest Ninja alive aside from Naruto

Again, power level has nothing to do with threat level. Big Mom is extremely strong, but do you fill any sense of threat from her? Kaido is extremely strong, and? They are jokes who can be easily manipulated by anyone, the are nothing but hollow figures.

Oda has been teasing Apoo vs Midd for so long as well. Literally everytime they meet they wanna kill each other.

Midd for whatever reason has stopped targetting Kaido. And after he sees Meme helping the allaince. He'll stop targetting her....and the only person left is Apoo to take his venegence out on. Apoo caused all of this on him. Makes sense for Midd to take him out....

I really think Oda has no future for Kidd and even for his powers. It was limited and lacked creativity. So Apoo vs Kidd seems good considering what he showed.

Rooftop is not the whole war. Kid will not need a break or Law heal him. Kid and Killer still good,alive and will kicked ass thanks to this chapter.

Kid and Killer would've been dead meat if Zoro didn't save them. He blocked the most powerful attack in the series and gave time for Law to teleport them. That's why they are still good, alive, and don't need Law's help.
