people don't understand how bad writing that would be

not in the sense that it won't make sense , but it would be very cheap plot development and getting the protagonist out of a major threat without them doing anything to deserve it

Oda don't get to build up Kaido arcs for years then suddenly there's an alliance with BM that will lead to his downfall, so Kaido threat basically solved itself

the reason for Kaido and BM alliance is to establish them as major threats to the whole world , meaning their plan will succeed

remember the information of another Ancient Weapon is here in Wano, it's in the form of Karibou

I say Kaido get Shirahoshi and BM get Uranus

Her betrayal doesn’t have to be the direct reason for his fall. She might attack his crew, or even take his poneglyphs after Luffy beats him. I think the Rox flashback will set it up even more IMO

- Big Mom creates a new homie called "Hera". It's a female homie that seems to be made purely of thunder (we can't see her 100% yet).
- Big Mom uses a new attack called "Fulgora" (Shake and Thunder - 震御雷). It's a massive thunder attack to test Hera's power.

Looks like Kidd and Killer get scared seeing Big Mom attack from the air without Zeus and then get taken down from the attack.

So she test Hera and Fulgora which shocked/scared Kid and Killer? Did they even get hit by that attack?
