People ALWAYS overvalue it when people "fight equally".
Jinbei blocked Big Moms Napoleon with his arm without being damaged through his haki and then vagabond drill yeeted her away.
He gave her more than an equal clash, but he's not Yonko level because of that.

Luffy also beat the shit out of Kaido in gear 4, but it did no tangible damage. And Luffy seemed to hand Kaidos ass to him when he unlocked coc coating, and yet Luffy still got offscreened so hard that he was completely unconcious and needed to be rescued.
Not trying to slander Luffy, but Luffy is the best Kaido related comparison.
Zoro also countered/dispelled Kaidos 3 Tatsumakis with his own Tatsumaki, equally rivaling Kaidos attack. But that doesn't mean Zoro is on Kaidos level.
I could go on with more examples of this kinda stuff.
But in short, yeah, Yamato might fight Kaido equally, but not for long. People need to learn that fighting or clashing equally is not the same as BEING equal. But I guess those same people also think that Mihawk, Zoros final goal, is just equal to Vista :yasu:
