"breathing heavy" as you say is not measurable damage.
luffy hit kaido way more times than zoro did and with way more potent attacks(ADV COC coating).
like I said, the most notable thing zolo did was put a scar on him and he didn't even knock him down like Oden did.

go back and read. before they even launch the attack luffy uses futuresight. after zoro holds the attack off for a second law transports zoro, kidd and killer NEXT TO HIM. thats why killer asks "wheres strawhat" and we see hes already attacking kaido while they are recovering.
Cap. Kaido already stated that luffys use of coc was trash. It was in the same chapter where we are explicitly shown Luffy falling in the water with kaido continuing saying he couldn't be joy boy.

All you proved was that Luffy hit kaido more times than anyone else. And has zero damage to show for it. We don't even see an imprint of luffys punches on kaido. Hell kaido doesn't even mention receiving internal wounds which is luffys whole niche now.

Prepare for the :

"10 reasons why Sanji's CoC will only be good vs fodders"
Salt threads from these guys who are already getting pressed with the realization that Sanji's going to have it :kobeha:
He isn't getting it. Oda hasn't focused on the improvement of sanjis since the beginning of the time skip. While he makes it his business to focus on Zoro and luffys growth of it. What oda did is have sanjis poweruos revolve his generic lineage factor and scientific super suit

Don't matter, he'll get it.

That's how Oda handles Sanji's power ups. Chunks of the manga without clarity and then boom, big jump to face opponents of the highest caliber in the enemy ranks.

Ughhhhhhhhh no. Oda again justified sanjis growth with his latent genetic factor that has been hinted at even in this arc with the cp0 in reference to momo. So obviously the same will apply with Sanji. To add he even has Sanji fighting an opponent who is all about tech
