Kaido in this chapter, more and more proves that it's likely that there is an ancient weapon sleeping in Wano

Everytime he speaks... and he even doesn't feel like he's enjoying that he took the Freedom of Wano.... his response to Yamato felt like "it was his means to an end goal" that sometimes, some questions are better not answered...

He has ALWAYS given the chance for Wano warriors to join his side before killing them.... that's something you guys have noticed right? he always beats an enemy... imprison him for some period of time to persuade him to join him, instead of killing him first...

Which is something Doflamingo/Crocodile/Enel....etc and many enemies have been doing...

I'm not saying Kaido is good guy... but I feel on many occasions he was trying to cause the least amount of casualties (aside from Onigashima falling) :milaugh: but really.... how many times have we seen him imprison a person trying to make them join before getting rid of them?

Hell, he even gave Momo a chance to get out of his reach by admitting he's not Kozoki Oden son... sure it would have stained his legacy... but it was Kaido's way to try to make Momo free...

I am 100% sure when Kaido gave the 1 portion of food this chapter, HE KNEW FULLY WELL.... that those 3 Samurai are prideful enough, and caring enough to actually give it to his daughter instead... and the sword was simply to make them take the choice of dying as warriors by fighting.... as Kaido saw that they will not yeild to him....

I think Kaido saw that in their loyalty and eyes... and made that move....

Kaido again this chapter implies there is a big reason behind him choosing wano in particular, and the fact that his fight with Luffy, he MENTIONED "so you're not the next joyboy" means.... or feels like he knows his role will END by the next joyboy... which to me connects it back to his time with Xebec, and his encounter with Roger ....etc...

The dude is really interesting character and I want to know more

Holy shit, this chapter really showed what an effective villain Kaido could have been had Oda not dropped the ball so hard on him and made him a fraud and a simp. :lawsigh:

Orochi should never have been created in the first place. It should have been Kaido and Kaido alone to avoid all that wasted hate on Orochi became wasted in the truest sense. It should have been reserved for Kaido alone. We could have had a GOAT villain but Oda lolnoped it in favor of a chuckle, smh. :tchpepe:

There is a Theory that the death of his wife is the cause of him being like that since he can't die on his own. Its also been implied many times that he thinks that death completes someone. But someone like him who can't die can't be complete.
Hmmm poetic! I don't see him being emotional to the level of changing over the death of his wife, but who knows. Even if it was true, why'd he be like this to Yamato? To make her strong?

:zorothink:

:kaidowhat: why would you call him a fraud and a simp?

Kaido wants to be PK and even have a war with the WG, he needs all the help he can get
His crew is getting wrecked by Luffy's crew despite him not bringing his grand fleet.

Bm vs kid and law.. Cant wait huuuhh

The chapter had a great vibe and tone to it, UshimaruAnd the other Daimyos.. Their will and irrepresive fortitude in sacrificing the self for wano.. For the sake of yamato.. A true show of magnanimity..the way of the samurai...and yamato's freedom speech and Kaido's vague retort.

There is more to kaido then meets the eye.. Almost like he has immunised himself from any empathy and compromised any sympathy for the sake of something..

ZORO X USHIMARU.... I NEED A FAN ART OF ZORO WITH HIS DAD'S TATOOO.

I'm sorry, but is this sarcasm? Are you serious? :lusalty:

Because, holy shit, with how poorly written Oda has made the characters of the Yonkos to be, particularly Kaido and Big Mom, especially in comparison to a character who received much less hype in-verse but ended up exceeding all expectations like Doflamingo (who's an all-time GOAT villain in OP), I really hope you're simply being sarcastic here. :seriously:
