I wonder why the WG would even still care if they found out King was Lunarian. Does he know something that is a danger to them or can his existence lead people to knowing the true history of their world?

Well probably a few reasons. One showcased in this chapter. Experiment and replicate his races abilities.
second if he procreates and creates a family of his kind with just a few he could be a real danger to WG. I’m starting to think that the SSG might be super soldiers like Germa but better with abilities from the lunariens and kaido and who knows who else. With 100 people at kings level it would be almost impossible to stop the world government.

Sanji eyebrows is also switched but form right to left..

seems oda planned it very well.. "wings of pirate king"

edit: further thought about this... why did oda make this happened?
maybe in the future we will have a panel with monster trio, at their combat stance side by side..
luffy at the middle, zoro right side, sanji left side..
it's much better pose if zoro mouth sword is pointing to right side, and sanji prepare his ifrit jambe with his left foot

King doesn't need it. He his stronger with his own powers.

Katakuri it's overrated because people show him beating G2/G3 (veteran level) Luffy with a limited G4 (YC level mode). After Luffy figured out Katakuri's gimmick he beat him with just one use of G4 Snakeman mode.
