All hints lead toward it being Luffy not Momo, but Momo is still essential for Joyboy's "rebirth/reincarnation" as he is a Kozuki like Oden.

Zoro is and was always someone who needs the help of others. The whole arc he get saved by someone. Every chapter. Against king franky catch zoro twice. Against kaido everyone know how he sucked and enma carried him

To me it looks like Luffy needs help in this crucial moment, and what about Nothing Happened, Hakai, are we sleeping on that out of an agenda here?

I'm really worried for him now too especially with Zunesha there. There's the 3rd CP0 guy left but given how these two are somehow worse, more incompetent and weaker than CP9 imo, it seems a lot cause.

Revolutionaries fodder, gifters fodder, samurai fodder, CP0 fodder, giants fodder, grand fleet fodder, BM pirates fodder, Drake and Sword foddrr, the list goes on.

Oda is clowning everyone of these groups without mercy.

Luffy may Awaken his Devil Fruit, but I think that he's actually defeated, at least for now.



Imagine saying that after Luffy has already lost against Kaido 4 - 5 times this arc:

1. Kaido KOed him with Thunder Bagua in Kuri.
2. He ran out of Gear 4 and was a sitting duck that needed to be babysat by Zoro on the Rooftop.
3. Kaido KOed him with Rag Naraku.
4. He was off paneled by Kaido after unlocking Haoshoku coating.
5. Kaido KOed him again last chapter.

"Zoro can't fight Kaido again" is hypocritical giving Luffy's back to back losses against him.




If anyone other than Luffy fights Kaido going forward, it would be Zoro.

Being KO’d is different from being damn near dead

Luffy was knocked out by Ragnarok and bounced back because he didn’t actually take serious damage. Zoro just took twice the damage he took from Hakai (which already put him on his ass) + the damage he took from King + the TB he tanked after falling over

Can you say Luffy has taken anything on the level of hakai during any of his losses? Did he take so much damage it broke 30 of his bones?

Zoro after the medicine‘s side effects kicked back in has probably taken the most damage in Onigashima
