Agreed, we do not know much as of now, however, it is a Mythical Zoan which apparently are very strong and rare and thus I seriosuly doubt it won't be strong. It is not a "simple" paramecia taken to new extremes by the protagonist.

Knowing that Luffy has a mythical zoan doesn't just make his fruit so much powerful. His awakening is exactly what we thought it would be. It doesn't change anything that happens before this revelation. It doesn't make stretching and inflating OP

The fuck is the point of the Gorosei sending someone to kill Luffy? The fruit will just respawn and someone else will eat it, from their point of view, the fruit hadn't awakened in almost a millenia so it wasn't a threat.

You think an healthy Luffy would lose against an healthy Kaido? :myman:

And in a 1v1 always bet on Kaido was just something he claimed many years ago, and probably with ironic tone, in the meantime things changed plus Luffy was probably not strong enough at the time for this awakening process to happen.
