No one has ever denied that Shanks has Haki moves that don't require a sword. The deal is that when Shanks gets serious he needs to pull out his sword. His best moves are used with his sword. Not simply haki and not a gun. Those haki sword feats are bellow Mihawks feats. Thats what it means to be the WSS. The possibility of Shanks having super haki separate from his sword ended with Film Red.

yes the titles meant nothing. oda also mentioned WB could only go toe to toe with roger. This meant even after he got his df. But he was titled as WSM even before he got his df. Same with kaido. he is considered WSC but still so many on his list. But WSS is different bcz it related to swordsmanship and making one blade into a black blade. I think Mihawk is top of OP in terms of Swordsmanship skill. I think not even roger can beat him on that part.This also makes sense with what mentioned in vivre card. Bcz if you look into it's said his power is not decreased just shanks has lost an arm, and also he may not be as skilled as previously with his sword.That is why probably mihawk is waiting for a rival that surpasses shanks in terms of swordsmanship.

Apparently learning haki and mastering it while using it to fight makes you a none swordsmanship practitioner meaning you are not as skilled as Mihawk but you are overall stronger because of haki

When does "mastering" haki hold any relevance to an individual character's Haki capabilities?

Once again with the Fishman CoC example and to add, Kaido vs Luffy.

Dispite holding his own in Haki clashes with Kaido (showing their "mastery" ) Luffy eventually got overpowered I'n Haki clashes once Kaido started putting in more effort.

So Big Mum was also not in full control of Napoleon and wasnt able to stabilize its power that's why everyone getting close to her was being knockout

Same with Kaidou who wasn't in full control of his kanabo and wasnt able to stabilize its power that's why the maries were being KO'd

Same with Luffy who wasn't in full control of his fists and wasn't able to stabilize its power that's why the maries were being knockout
