This chapter just reaffirms how Strawhats together are great and separated they suck.

Dressrosa where they started together is good. WCI they were separated all time sucks and Wano they started separated also sucks.

But even before Roger found the One Piece, there were several big names fighting each other. With Roger ultimately conquering the Grand Line and starting the age of piracy, with the WG allowing it. Which also kinda means that the WG has no authority over that island.

Why would Garp and Roger have to team up to fight the Rocks Pirates, to "protect the Celestials". Just throw a lightning blast and eradicate them all, instead of eradicating the remains after the fight (with the Yonko seemingly getting away unharmed).

that whole part is a joke. leaving a country behind after freeing it from a tyrant was never an issue for the strawhat. franky wanted to stay at water 7 and they force him to leave. now it becomes a problem, and the person telling us that is someone who has had 20 years to think that if you defeat kaido other people like him might appear. Oda has been a disaster on this aspect. one person doesn't change anything, especially not after you imply momonosuke is still useless even after unlocking bolo breath.

Right now no one possesses it and if you blow up the country it breaks down the borders and actually is more likely to free pluton than destroy it. Nuking wano probably just gives it to the pirates

Because they profit from the whole power structure. The pirates kill each other and Imu keeps ruling over the world with no issues. I'm sure that God Valley was nuked by Imu at the end - and there were legends like Xebec, Roger, Whitebeard, Garp and Rayleigh.

His actions would even make sense if he's even a bit similar to Enel as a character; being the observer of the world and merely viewing everything and only acting accordingly when the situation asks for.

Okay let’s say there are two options
1. Imu knows that Pluton is in Wano. The WG wants Pluton, so Imu could blow up Wano, free the weapon and take it
2. Imu doesn’t know that Pluton is in Wano. Doesn’t change the fact that she/he could easily destroy an opposing nation and Nika with a single blow
