Kaido wants to be defeated, so he generally takes his enemies attacks.

This is why Kaido dodging Zoro's Flying Dragon Blaze was a big moment for Zoro. This is also reinforced when Luffy mocks Kaido for dodging him, saying, "It's because it hurts, right?"

Kaido dodging attacks intentionally is so rare it's actually highlighted in the narrative when he does so. Most Kaido fights go like this: Kaido lets fodder attack him, until he gets bored. Kaido stomps. Kaido goes back home and drinks. That's it. That's the fight.

The fact that Zoro and Luffy both were able to make Kaido dodge really says a lot about broken their max attack power is.

People who think Kaido is weak because he doesn't dodge attacks are just completely ignoring the part of his character that wants to die in combat. Kaido LETS his enemies hit him, to test their strength. Dude is a beast.

Not that it pleases me, but I guess that the only way she and her crew could show their worth without being handicapped or mistreated by the plot is with them being on the Straw Hats' side, which the kidnapping of Pudding is obviously an excuse for the BMP to become allies of the Straw Hats.

I imagine BM's portrayal as an ally would be even worse because she would be used to hype up the enemy.

The potential she had in WCI and how all of that was ruined is honestly amazing. Not even Oda's biggest enemy could come up with a hit on a character like that.

I like the idea but wouldn’t sanjis be fighting with his hands ? Not using diable jambe is still his normal fighting style.

It’s like Zoro having no sword style or Luffy having his base strength. They’re still there; but Zoro fighting without his swords is a massive nerf. Luffy fighting without his devil fruit is an insane nerf. Sanji fighting without his fire is an insane nerf.

Especially in the class that they need to be fighting at.

The Matchup is very important. It will be two swordsman that specialise in two very different ways of fighting. Zoro is straight up charging at you head on while Shiryu is using trickery and finding ways to cheap shot you.
That battle will just further polish Zoro's observation haki to get ready for Mihawk.

Not really. What I'm expecting from Blackbeard crew is gimmick fights. Shiryu will only give trouble because he's invisible otherwise he gets fucked by most commanders.
Same for Blackbeard negating Luffy's devil fruit and only fighting base Luffy or Lafitte using his hypnosis instead of fighting

Honestly, Blackbeard crew fight will probably have the most disappointing and overhyped fights in shonen history.

yep,but i think Kidd,Law,Sabo will be the ones to fight the admirals in the final war.Luffy vs Sakazuki.Zoro and the others will take on the Seraphim or vice admirals.

You do realize Shock Wille doesn't require Kid or bombs, right? Law will still be able to harm Big Meme and I never claimed he'd be able to defeat her alone.

But how did she and Kaido survive? Lava is still a liquid-ish thing. It's viscosity is around ketchup level I think. And they are both df users. Unless op lava/magma is hard, they should be dead from drowning at the very least.
