I'm only using facts, real portrayal, Admirals have negative portrayal against the stronger RHM, Beckman's portrayal gets dismissed all the time probably because he isn't a nobody like the next strongest RHP.
Power that rivals Shanks, haki above Admirals, can stop Admirals from using their element, Kizaru is afraid of him but then we see threads calling him a fraud and that he's nowhere near... Kizaru's level

Zoro on roof top had Ashura to he on that level. Base Zoro capped at YC1 level

Zoro needed advCoC to be a low top tier.

Again I basically think Shiryu and Magallen were Low Top tiers as Impel Down Jailers.

Now Shiryu got a fruit which he can potentially awaken.

There is a lot of potential there

Yes there definitely is. I personally don't buy the Evil Oden thing but who knows. Shiryu is a cheap-shotter, he won't charge at Adv CoC Zoro head on. The fight with him will be Shiryu ducking open fire using his fruit then getting one shot per usual Zoro fight ending.

Remember, Kuzan might not be the same combatant he used to be after fighting Sakazuki. That, and Zoro already defeated a YC1--I'm pretty sure almost everyone expects Shiryu to be MUCH stronger than the commanders we've seen so far

Honestly like shiryu is incredibly strong he was close to Magellan pre timeskip (who I rate above any commander) And has a strong devil fruit

And is Zoros last fight before Mihawk an emperor class fighter… like I don’t get why Shiryu at least being close to Aokiji is a weird take. I’m trolling saying he’s above him; but saying Aokiji negs seems unfair

I will say I’ve always hoped for the BB pirates vs M3 fights to be about the Monster trio to have to fight without their main powers:

Luffy fighting without his DF
Zoro fighting without his swords
Sanji fighting without his fire

Luffys devil fruit we know gets cancelled by the Yami Yami no Mi
Zoros swords can be completely “cleared” if Shiryu awakens his fruits allowing him to turn objects intangible and invisible
Sanji I hoped Lafitte would be able to erase oxygen with whatever flying fruit he has, but it would work with Kuzan as well since his cold was able to cancel out magma the hottest substance in OP

The Matchup is very important. It will be two swordsman that specialise in two very different ways of fighting. Zoro is straight up charging at you head on while Shiryu is using trickery and finding ways to cheap shot you.
That battle will just further polish Zoro's observation haki to get ready for Mihawk.
