Gear 5 is not that superior to Kaido at his prime. It might even be a little inferior since the person in question here is a freaking 19 year old who is stupider than a common man.
Also, Lucci is not that weak. He might be a bitter motherfucker now who still thinks that his lost 2 years ago was an exemption to the norm. But still, he's also an awakened Zoan. He might have been temporarily knocked out by a single punch from Luffy but to make a comparison, dozens of that were unable to knock out Kaido as well.

Zoro used a casual attack to counter Kaku's strom kick, both of them. That can easily be determined by just looking at the impact from Zoro stopping both attacks.
They are drawn the same way. The first attack created a bigger impact because it was a stronger attack.

complex: complex to refer to something that is not simple. Something complex has two or more related parts, or is not simple in its structure
a character with good motives but their ways of execution being wrong doesn't sound simple does it.

nonconflicting motives,
if you are looking for characters who aren't complex

Well if you look at it without being biased, you should get the pattern there: attacks are coming from Big Mom & Gear 5 Luffy, same weaklings who couldn't KO Marco and Lucci and chose to leave them alone.

I know it's a call back to that, but the difference is, back then, Lucci got up and went right back after Luffy. Here however, Luffy had time to talk to Sentamaru, and then hop on a shuttle to be carted away.
If there is one thing Oda emphasized about awakened Lucci, it was his speed. If he was conscious, he was more than fast enough to intercept anyone who was trying to get onto that shuttle. He was out for at least a minute or two.
