King's undoubtedly the strongest of the usual YC1 trio while Katakuri's wanked the most, which is due to him being a main arc boss. However, there is no denying Marco's got the best overall portrayal out of any given YC1. None of them were respected half as much as Marco, period.

If Kid and Law could take down Big Mom, it speaks volumes for how King and Queen couldn't put down Marco. (he lost cause he used up most of his stamina holding off the Ice oni virus).

Think about it. Individually Kid and Law were well below Big Mom's level. King and Queen are supposed to be on Marcos level. On paper, as a tag team, they should have dog walked him. Should have easily been able to put him down in a fraction of the time it took Kid and Law, to take down Big Mom, but they didn't.

Oda has been very careful as to how he's chosen to handle Marco. It's really hard to pinpoint just where he stands as an individual fighter.

he was also beat up


I would say with marco his portrayal seems more impressive than the others but lacking in tangible feats cause he didnt get to fight main characters like the others did.
