It might make more sense if he explains what the Lunarians actually are and what the flame is about but it does seem like a pretty shallow power yeah. Coolest thing about King was his fit and his fruit.

Marco has no portrayal and feat over katakuri
If pre exo Spanish can 1v2 calamities offscreen
The katakuri can replicate Marco's feat easily

If luffy, jinbei, law, zoro can all stall or overpower admirals pre wci/wano, then katakuri can do better than Marco did against top tiers.

Anyway, both are > King

There's a reason oda only hypes King durability not his overall strength or skills

@Wonder I know it does not bother you but this is really annoying when there are no rules for such occurances during fights.

Some minor rules would help a lot.

Yamato is a perfect example. AdvCoC user, trash ap.
