I think it's the sheer fact that Shank's fights like Roger that makes it not matter, and the narrator's panel.

We’ll need to actually see the panel to judge. Shanks used Roger’s attack, but was it at the same level or did he use a stronger version?

I’m guessing he used a stronger version, as even Ikoku couldn’t 1 shot Kid.

The issue is we don't know how much stronger Kaido got between fighting Moria, and then fighting Oden, and then the next 20 years. If Kaido's been around the same strength, which I think is somewhat likely, then Oden is definitely a 3.5+ bounty, IMO.

He was Scopper level if not a bit stronger. He was probably admiral level.

I am sorry but I don’t agree. To be a top tier you really need adv. Coc. Without it, your just mid tier. It has been stated several times. It really depends on Haki. Law will share the same destiny as Kidd unfortunately.
