Luffy was one shotted by Kaido when he had no way to use advCoC. Once he got it he could tank those hits. Kid’s a fucking bum who doesn’t even use normal armament.
To beat Kaido, Luffy had to mastered all types of Haki and even that was not enough. Only reason, that he did not lost, was his awakening of overpowered DF. He did put out good fight before that, though.
Can really see the panels but aren't they getting slashed?
I dont feel like going out my way to find the panel but doesnt change the fact its weird shanks and roger didn't cut kid/oden with direct hits
But Kid still did not show any 1on1 feats, arguably was somewhat cheapshotted even and they are going to be washed ashore.
This looks like he either might get actual panel time in Elbaf or a Cover Story where they build a ship and sail off Elbaf.
