I think Kid's career is over, he lost in 1 move. His crew was wiped out, he no longer has a poneglyph.

After thinking what happens makes sense, Kid has no advanced haki, even his fruit awakening is not powerful against an emperor in a 1 vs 1.
We forgot a lot that Kid helped greatly helped by Law a nerfed Big Mom rendered by Oda she didn't use Adv Haki Armament, plus she was in 2 vs 1 and then the bombs played a role in her defeat. Kid is very far from Luffy's level that's what I've been saying since, he doesn't have a crew to match.
There were plenty of signs that he wasn't up to it.
He's not even Admiral level.
At the limit of YC1 or YC1+ but no more.
Oda showed the reality. And then Kid is responsible for the loss of his crew.
We often talk about Luffy making decisions without thinking. But at least he mainly attacks alone against the threat, he doesn't take his weakest members against the Boss.
That being said, it's still a feat for a character who is secondary to have been able to "win" a fight against Big Mom in 2 vs 1.
There is still a chance that he will appear in the final war.
