Even the traitor arc in Egghead was resolved pretty fast.

Yeah, I love chapters that go outside the Straw Hats so much. Even if it's only a few panels of the Payback War, or Aokiji vs Akainu, GIVE US THAT SHIT, ODA!!!! It adds so much to the story to see important events outside the crew, or at least bits of them.

Aokiji just reformed his body. He didn’t regenerate or create new ice to do it just reformed the ice around him to do it.

Momo burned down his body, it’s not like Aramaki was some kinda woods golem, the entire tree was his physical body. Then as it was burning down we see a new plant next to the original and aramaki grew out of that.

That’s complete bodily regeneration, it’s the same as a new tree growing out of a seed of the original.
