Snakeman that wasn't using adv. Haki. For comparison: base Kaido just stood there and let himself being pummeled by boundman before clapping him with a one handed blow which didn't involve CoC coating. Meanwhile Kizaru's accelerated kick, which sent Luffy through the giant robot and twice through the barrier, didn't achieve that.

Kaido dodged Snakeman and counter attacked, just as he multiple times dodged G5 and counter attacked. He also blocked Snakeman's attacks after getting pummeled.

It is to show that Kaido is complete in all regards. Tanking, attacking, reacting and avoiding. Kizaru stalling a Snakeman without adv Haki isn't that glorious feat you think it is. As @JoNdule pointed out, Kizaru just replicated Katakuri's feat and Katakuri was shitted on as being the weakest commander. Now suddenly Kizaru is PK level for doing the same.

Let’s not pretend Kaido ever took a move similar to WSG either. Is there any basis to the idea he can shrug it off? Scabbards togen totsuka did make him lie on the ground white eyed. And it should be much weaker.

And since we can't use plot as an excuse we have to find a reason right?

So if we go by the logic that Luffy was stripped of using aCoC because Kizaru and by extension all Admirals are too weak for him then this must mean Luffy was confident that at any given point he would be able to finish the fight in a single blow using aCoC because I believe we both agree Luffy would never run out of stamina and let his oponnent run wild on his friends.

Kizaru doesnt need to stall Snakeman, he can keep blitzing him at will
We've barely seen shit from him and we already know that Gear5 is the only form that can fight him, and he still couldn't tag him in CQC before going after Vegapunk. Now Luffy is so tired that he cant reset instantly like he did against Kaido. Durability is not it mate, other top tiers with normal durability like Garp Shanks Mihawk etc are getting fucked by a WSG toon force any day of the week.
