Because we know it was circumstantial. Admiral fans cope all the time about the admirals not going all out when being used as a ping pong ball by Marco. Now suddenly, it's about outcome.

There is no cope when the story mentions how nerfed the Admirals are on panel over and over again. Don't call it cope only because you dislike it. I know that it's inherently different to Mihawk who confirmed that he went all out against Luffy and failed to touch him several times.

The Marco comparison doesn't even relate. We've seen the end result there too if anything lol.

What do you mean with "how nerfed"? Aramaki was using a great proportion of his DF when being unable to best Morley. Kaido used a small portion of his power to one shot Luffy (no hybrid, no ACoC). Why do admirals have to go all out against veterans? Lol
