Luffy never knocked out Lucci. He hit him three times and left the battle.

Zoro hasn't defeated Lucci yet because Oda has to stall Zoro for plot. The same thing happened against Monet and Pica. Oda wouldn't even allow Zoro to cut the bird cage because he needed to create suspense.

If you're using "Oda stalling" reason, then Luffy used G5 because of plot. simple You use Oda as reason, I use Oda as reason

There's to much rot in the Zoro fandoms brain for them to understand One Piece and they've now to twisted and done so much mental gymnastics that in their minds it's sword piece.

With the Gorosei knowing that it would trigger Kaido's fury, Big Mom shouting to Katakuri, "I didn't ask for your help," and Whitebeard ordering his sons not to intervene, etc.

They thought Marine HQ + Shichibukai "balancing" out the 4 emperors, which are in conflict with each other, means that they are equal in power to all 4 emperor groups combined. Doesn't really make sense, if the Marine HQ itself says that war even with one of the emperors is already troublesome. Heck, the WG itself, which is a superset of the Marine HQ, can't conquer a single warrior country. Kaido accomplished what the WG failed to do for 800 years.
