lol OPLA season 2

Mackenyu is bringing the Rurouni Kenshin action team for OPLA season 2

He seems so smug and excited teasing us about what they have in store for the action scene

OPLA S1 was filmed during covid and on a restricted budget so they weren’t able to fly the stunt team Mackenyu used to work with. He had to slow down his movements because the team wasn’t fast enough to keep up with his swordfight

While the OPLA stunt team did a great job, I believe they were not used to sword stunts as advanced as the Rurouni Kenshin team so expect some high level choreo for season 2
:milaugh:

One of the admirals needs to leave or defect so that Koby can have an opening.

Kizaru did the Nika dance and was close to VP, so it makes the most sense for it to be him.

Fuji is a good guy, but given how even Koby opposes Luffy as he doesn’t want Luffy control the world(which is what OP would supposedly let him do), I really doubt Fuji will switch sides.
I don’t think Koby can get promoted as he officially left the Marines

i prefer it over Nika because it sounds way less fanfictiony.

anyways i didn't even know you were the guy who made the theory till Saturn arrived on the island iirc
"Resin" in fact originated from yuderon (which I didn't know at the time I made the theory montage), the theory took place in a Discord server where after discussing with some people, the montage was made and then I posted it on social media and for some reason, it went viral

That theory however was just a theory like any other one and I should have kept options open and pushed other scenarios instead of overfocusing on that scenario only

I know man, I was just kidding, trying to get a response from @RebelliousSoma.

There is just too much whining and bitching about the manga recently.
People said Egghead was THAT character's arc, another one!
They prayed for CoC, FS, haki clashes, reverse rooftop, most wanted fanfics and in the end they got the biggest fuck you from the author, the whole arc paralleled with a mid trio mugi, portrayed absolutely equal till the very end.

While we're in here bantering they're busy sending death threats to Oda, again. :saden:

This chapter definitely confirms my suspicions that Imu has the one piece and Roger just lied about it.

The OP world is based on the idea that there is no king of the world. Even with the CDs and their awful system, the CDs at least promised that there would be no king of the world.

Joyboy wanted to be king. Emeth even laments that he couldn’t make joyboy king. That’s probably why the AK war started. The kingdoms wanted to prevent joyboy from being king of the world.

Luffy wants this to. In chapter 2 if you look at the interaction between Koby and Luffy, Koby says Luffy would need to make the world kneel to him to be PK.

The key to becoming PK is the One Piece. It is essentially built up as the One Ring of the story. Whoever has it controls the world.

But we already know that there is a person who controls the world. That being Imu. Hence he must have the one piece.

I think the story ends with Luffy either destroying the one piece or giving it to Koby in a fake fight(like what happened in East blue). Koby is the honest marine hero. Once Imu is overthrown, he would tbh be the most worthy of the One Piece.

Luffy fake fights Koby. Koby gets a fake victory. Luffy gives Koby the One Piece. With the CDs gone, the WG becomes a true democratic republic. With the OP, Koby is able to create a world with true Justice.

Luffy goes down in history as an evil villain who wanted to keep the OP to himself to be King of the world, before being defeated by the valiant Koby.

Which is basically what happened to Roger. He got a fake loss to Garp and was seen as the villain.
Oden wrote about the One piece saying they laid their eyes on it

fanfic writing is having all legendary pirates on the same ship except for Roger

that's literally 5 yr old toddler writing
"All the yonkou actually were in the same crew on a big ship with a cool guy with spikey hair, they all HATED him but still followed because hes cool, they like literally fought EVERY DAY with each other killing, big mom was a super hot mommy and frendz with kaidoo, and then they fought roger and garp in god valley, and Shanks's evil twin brother was there too, it was epic."

I never really thought about it, but yes that's some toddler-level writing. Goda doesn't disappoint.

Nah, not calling anyone out specifically. They know who they are.

Though calling a chapter trash doesn't mean somebody isn't a fan. But those that say how they don't care yet are here every week for spoiler discussion are tsundere
I love most chapters to complain about anything that Oda does, which for some reason it seems impossible for some people

There probably was one chapter in Egghead where I wondered what was going on in terms of pacing (Saturn standing in front of Vegapunk, Luffy eating...) but that was about it

I think I was misunderstood. The fact that Ussop can resist a Conqueror's Haki doesn’t mean he has better Haki than that specific person. After all, in Wano, he was resisting Big Mom's Haki while people around him were fainting. This doesn’t suggest that he has better Haki, but rather that he has a strong willpower that allows him to endure it.
Resisting CoC has nothing to do with will, it has to do with power, Oda has stated as much in an SBS

This chapter has me digging deep. I found out the Weatheria wind knots traces to a chapter in The Golden Bough about magical traditions around controlling the wind, in this case Finnish and Scottish ones:
https://sacred-texts.com/pag/frazer/gb00504.htm

In retrospect it's not surprising, but I was shocked to learn he'd read this book. There must be unplumbed depths of connections in here.

My favorites are the glue sniffers that call oda loda every week and circlejerk about hating the manga in their clubhouse but are also 1 character stans thinking that is not the same guy that is writing the characters
Real some 13 year old teen girl brain deficit :josad:

Oden wrote about the One piece saying they laid their eyes on it
The official translation makes it seem ambiguous

“And in the face of that ‘vast treasure’ which was very real indeed…”

“… the world at large referred to everything Roger had gained as the One Piece”

Roger found something in laugh tale that made him laugh. The world believed he had the world’s greatest treasure, the one piece.

There is a disconnect here. How do we know that whatever Roger found is the same thing that the world thinks he found? We don’t.

I think Roger’s treasure was the adventure itself. He went to laugh tale, found that the treasure was missing, but laughed anyways because he accomplished what he wanted. He sailed the world with his friends and became the greatest pirate. He already had Wealth, fame, and power before he even reached laugh tale.

However Roger surely didn’t obtain whatever VP is talking about, a treasure that the fate of the world rests on. If he had that then he could have stopped Imu, but he didn’t.
