Many on this forum are obsessed with fights and power scaling, even if it's been obvious for a while that it's nonexistent by now.
To be honest I am waiting to see the panels to see if I like or dislike it, I think that Saul is one of the many characters that should have stayed dead.

And while I have no doubt about Big Mom's survival and eventual return, I dread what Oda will again do with her after her abysmal treatment in Wano.
I often feel like people measuring jumping distance or "feats" are just wasting their time. Its clear Oda doesn't take fights and feats that seriously, hence why you can have someone like Crocodile, an 81 million bounty privateer who got bested by a hakiless East Blue seamonkey with blood on his fists now suddenly being a Level 6 prisoner on par with Mihawk or the Emperors. Fights are clearly secondary to Oda when compared to his narrative and worldbuilding, especially since he doesn't have the chops to kill characters even when they deserve it. People will praise OP for 'feats' and fights but will just turn a blindeye to the story's contents itself regardless if Oda's latest reveal is good or a Vegafraud-tier dud.

I feel that BM is dead mainly because narratively she’s useless now. The only thing her crew had left that had narrative impact was Pudding who belongs to the BBP now.

I’m glad Saul’s alive personally. I think his character has a lot of potential because he’s a D that is both old and has oharas knowledge which as we learned recently involved the D because Clovis was interested in his brother’s death.

I think we’re about to get some good knowledge on the D.

we just arrived in the village she spent her childhood in, and the arc is populated with giants who knew her personally and grew up with her as a child. she's probably the yonko most connected to the storyline of elbaf next to shanks. the last time we saw big mom she went out saying "this isnt the last you'll see of me" or something. pretty much just saying directly to the reader she'll be back.

big mom and kaido are still alive. they'll come back around for the struggle over the ancient weapons. the ZKK people will return

Yes that's a whole different problem.

What if this time around, Oda WILL make Zoro kill Kaido?

I hate all the fake deaths in the series to begin with, but another issue that I didn't see anybody bringing up is Saul never contacting Robin in 20 years.
He himself was hiding from the WG, okay. But he's the history professor of Elbaf so he seems pretty respected. Don't see any reason why he couldn't have sent some of his studends to find Robin lmao
Or maybe he did but they couldn't find her because she hid too well?
At very least this should be addressed either in this chapter or the next one

Thought the same
Robin went through hell so why not go and search for her? She could have had an easy life in Elbaf
Hope Oda gives a reason like i searched for you and couldn't find you or something and doesn't just ignore it

I got fired from the Navy, got buster called, got ice aged, and almost died were it not for the inferno on the island melting the ice. Which left me scarred for life. And i can never show my face outside of elbaf ever again lest i be hunted down and killed.
All because i met this cursed kid.
Fuck that kid.

-Saul Probably.

What value would there be to Zoro killing Kaido though ?

Yeah, at least Oda used the excuse of Sabo being amnesiac to justify him not trying to meet and get in touch again with Ace, even though it's still a weak excuse and it's stupid that Ace didn't hear at least once about a famous Sabo who's the shining rising star of the RA and Dragon's right-hand man.

Yeah
Robin and the readers were led to believe that until the straw hats, she had nowhere to go because the WG would keep chasing her
Yet apparently all this time she could have gone to Elbaf and be safe since the WG don't dare going there lmao
Don't ignore that point Oda

The WG with wayyyy better resources couldn't catch her.

:milaugh:He made Sabo have amnesia just toe excuse him not going to Marineford to save Ace

He will create some bs excuse for Saul not looking and hiding Robin in Elbaf
