A single rampage, we are talking about a few days at sea, and the government issued a special 2.6 bil bounty on his head, then tried to recruit him in as a celestial dragon..

Shanks didn’t fight him 1v1, nothing implies that, Loki is a rampaging beast and Shanks set up a net to capture him

I don't think anybody is seriously pushing that Gaban = Roger as perfect equal like WB and Roger were outside Roger meme slander. What we're saying is this chapter/giants are clearly hyping up Gaban for his strenght that somehow make him a legend comparable to Roger and Rayleigh, not his fame or role on the ship. The context is hardly ambiguous
To me it seems the only reason why peole refute something so obvious is because of Sanji, they see Sanji a whole tier or two below Zoro so that means Gaban strenght dynamic with Rayleigh must be the same.

I think the gap between Zoro and Sanji is overplayed but even then Luffy/Zoro are not limited to their parallels with Roger and Rayleigh, they have Joyboy and Mihawk to surpass as superior objectives, while for now Sanji is limited to Gaban.

I don't think this chapter says prime Luffy = prime Zoro = prime Sanji but it does suggest he will end up as a bonafide top tier.

Like we know from the Oden flashback PK = reaching laugh tale and coming back, they literal say so. And we know Roger didnt challange and beat everyone on his way from the big mom stuff so it was not a luffy type "i will beat every admiral, yonko" and so on either

But Kaido, Big Mom, Shiki, Sengoku, Chinjao, Akainu all speak highly of him.
They think he stood beyond everyone else and that's what "conquering the seas" means in Kaido's statement.

My argument is that Kaido gave his opinion based on decades of being at the top of piracy.
And what he said was true... a strong DF power isn't enough on it's own to rule the seas.
Every Yonko (the silver medallists) and the gold medallist Roger... were all Conquerors.

So whats Roos win condition here exactly, that a captain/leader without CoC reaches Laugh tale?
