It's sad as fuck to see yet another character becoming a nepo baby with special lineage.

BB was way more interesting when he was unrelated to Rocks

@Baldwin
Oda really wasn't subtle at all when naming BB's ship.

I still like more the fan theories where either Buggy (same lineage, without the will) or Croc (same plan for a utopia to replace the WG at all costs) are Rocks' son, while BB is someone inspired by Rocks' legacy and who is just as messed up, if not more.

It made sense, too.

Luffy inherits Roger's will, and is chosen by a freedom-god DF.
BB inherits Rocks' will, and is chosen by a chaos-god DF.
No blood needed. And it reinforces both the themes of inherited will and returning cycles of liberation/destruction.

IMU becomes the system/status quo that both Luffy & BB want to topple, albeit with different means and for different reasons.

BTW, If Roger-Shanks-Luffy are variants of JoyBoys, two failing, while the third finally succeeds, who was the middle counterpart in the Rocks-???-BB equation?

Roger and Whitebeard factually hit their Prime post-God Valley.

Xebec killed an Admiral long before his Prime before he even became a Pirate, basically, an Admiral was to Xebec what Arlong was to Luffy.
fAcTuAlLy

No roger didn't retard

That's some pure headcanon

Oda said wb hit his prime at 38

Guess what age Roger was in godvalley? 39

Why the fuck would Roger not be in his prime in godvalley?

Once again pulling shit from so far up your own ass lol

You don't know jackshit

You don't know whether rocks was in his prime or not

Stfu with your retarded headcanons

Good point about Noah, but the way Redon worded it was very interesting. Can't wait for the full summary. Maybe he saw a symbol or a mark that would give us a clue about something? Or did some of the Giants' appearances give him an aha moment? Something about them caught his attention, thats for sure.

:Think::shocking:
That could be the case, I have checked the Galley la logo, it sorta looks similar to a viking ship.

People hit their primes at different times, Roger's prime was post-God Valley.

Xebec at his absolute weakest, pre-Pirate, barely in his twenties killed an Admiral, there's no dancing around this, it is Oda taking a shit on the Admiral rank's portrayal.

None of this shit is factual clown

As I said, you are just speculating. So don't call it fAcTuAl

Oda went the boring route with Xebec. My theory that Xebec was a Joyboy descendant or the OG protag seems way more interesting than this. He really kept it simple, there are evil D clans and the good ones.
I feel there is more to this.

Evil D clan and good D clan - makes whole ancient kingdom thing grey and not Black or white

If he isn´t, who could be? Either Roger, or Garp.
Xebec is most likely, since Saturn himself mentioned Teach´s special heritage while he never said anything like that about Luffy
If I have to guess then

Elder touched two key aspects
Luffy has special df - Nika

BB has special heritage - ancient kingdom royalty

Exactly lol, I think Teach is kind of Vegeta coded if you consider that, his homeland was wiped out and he may feel entitled to be *above* the other D clan members. And having a villain be related to Joyboy is cool. It´s the opposite of the Ace-Roger thing.

It will never be a good look for the ancient kingdom that 20 seemingly unrelated kingdoms united against it, though it will most likely just be wholesome chungus land
