I am really not sure how Oda would handle that. Instead of Doflamingo surviving a beheading from Kyros with his ability, the fake Orochi actually dies.

Oden looks like a complete fool initiating violence and handing Kaido and Orochi a free invitation to take over Wano. They would be completely justified labeling Oden as a violent criminal who wants to rule Wano by force. At the very least, Oden has to keep his honor until the very end and not die like a fool who's completely lost it.
