This is what happens when some believe that their headcanon powerscalings are actually fact. This leads them to make ridiculous claims when Oda crushes their fantasies.
Case in point, now that it was shown how the battle was, we have people now claiming that Kaido was somehow YC1 (based on nothing..
That Kaido was significantly weaker (based on nothing)
That it was actually young Kaido (my favorite)
It is so difficult for these people to admit that they got it wrong which leads to these "Damwge control" attempts

- Oden beaten because hostage. It was just like...Marco / Jozu getting distracted due to WB, and then getting beaten by Kizaru / Kuzan.
- Except, Admirals didn't get slashed/damaged/scarred as heavily as Kaidou's dragon form getting slashed by Oden. And again the dragon having the white eyes part was replicated by Luffy. But in Luffy's case, there is no blood from Kaidou's mouth, so i guess no damage whatsoever.
It's annoying, as a Kaidou fan. The supposedly-invincible dragon form in fantasy tropes, is just this weak compared to humans.

not that we know but i think Momo's fruit is the same as Kaido and since a DF cannot exist twice , the DF was not complete and considered a failure , but if Momo eat the real one or if there are another means like after the death of Kaido the DF take Momo as a host since a part of the fruit is inside him , the DF will take the full effect . i assume Momo's DF is nothing than experiment to recreate Kaido's DF most likely some experiment was done to Kaido as he was a prisoner, Vegapunk recruited some Kizaru's abilities in the paicifistas.

eitherway we saw that Luffy can land attacks on Kaido very easily in his Dragon and human form , and Kaido doesn't dodge at all , but the next time Luffy has advanced haki and those attacks are gonna hurt Kaido maybe a little at the beginning but during the battle Luffy is gonna improve his usage of haki. and to be honest i expect Luffy's G4 usage time will be extended due to the better usage of haki let us he was able to use it about an hour before and now can use it 3 hours or so.
