Look at the dudes name, I chalk people of his kind as trolls and move on. And they are acting as if strenght is static and characters never grow stronger, despite the manga litteraly telling them otherwise in chapter 957. Also these same people would wank oden for his strenght then start downplaying someone else when he has a tough fight with him. Seems like kaido one hit oden while Rogers hit didn’t, and the chapter before even stated that oden got stronger after his voyage. But whatever man, let them have their fun.
The way I see it: oden was as strong as kaido and that's it. Why? Because roger and wb (and garp) were the strongest, rayleigh and oden as their "right hand" were in their prime as strong as a yonko (or slightly stronger)

He scarred Kaido while in Dragon form
So Oden never fought Hybrid Kaido.
Younh Kaido oneshotted Oden (even tho it was a cheapshot but still)
This is just a lethal Luffy fighing Kaido but this time
A henchman ruined the fight.
Still disappointed tho
But at least we know Oden scarred Kaido who was in Dragon form and Kaido has enough AP to Oneshot a top tier.
Reminder that this is the stronger verison of Oden than the one who tanked a powerful haki named attack from Roger.
The only disappointment is the henchman hostage plot.

his alliance is not scrubs , he has the 9 red scabbard , his crew , Kid and Law , for sure the grand fleet , Marco and who knows who Jinbe would bring with him too , maybe all of WB commanders or at least Izo as old subordinate of Oden and Vista as a swordman in Wano . i am pretty sure that Jinbe is that late because he gathers allies to help Luffy he knows that Luffy is against two yonkos at the same time. if he was coming alone he could have been there ages ago and why Neko is late again because of the same reason and we know that Luffy's ability is having allies it was said before numbers are important as well and to be honest to have many commander level character works together will enable them to stall Kaido and BM when till Luffy KO's , more than that Kaido and his army are gonna be drunk and will be taken by surprise , just expect Luffy to take the majority with his CoC at the beginning.
There are other ways of using that DF for example creating pipe that can redirect any attack back to the one who attacked. With Advanced COA and COO the barrier barrier fruit user is overpowered. If Oden could defeat Kaido all along why he even needed to dance for 5 years and humiliate himself? There's no explanation that can have a logical sense.
