Luffy will become an official Yonko after Wano along with Big Meme, Blackbeard and Shanks, he will get the most hype out of the three of course (he is already being known as unofficial 5th Yonko, superior in everything, power, crew, fleet, territory [wano, and possibly FMI and DR :cool:]... etc).
But don't worry Kid and Law will get the recognition they deserve as subordinates of Luffy. :pepelit:

In fact, Orochi said he didn't believe the scabbards were alive.

This panel makes it impossible for the reader to even entertain a traitor amongst the scabbards because why can't he believe they're alive even though a scabbard is telling him he is alive and the others are alive?

There's literally little to no hints because what's applicable to claiming Kanjuro as the traitor applies to all other scabbards.

Yep this panel almost made me dismiss kanjuro as traitor.

  • He was born as a theatre actor.
  • He lost his emotions.
  • He wanted to die.
  • He has been a Kurozumi this entire time.
Unless anyone could have known these before hand, it was impossible for anyone to have good reason to claim Kanjuro the traitor or evidence to prove so. More or less, no one had evidence and the best we could do was make guesses. Heck, he could just as well have claimed Raizo was the traitor because there was no evidence and all he'd have to do is say:
  • He was born an actor.
  • A Kurzomi.
  • Wanted to die.
And we'd just have to accept it.

This is in essence a deus ex machina trickery. Creation of a convenient excuse to get a desired purpose without build up or evidence.

While it's a cheap method of tricking the audience (readers), it's still effective because Oda rarely and ever pulls out this kind of devices in his writing. Oda usually hints and leaves trails of evidence, but I guess here, there's none unless I'm not seeing them.
Not a fan of such methodology, but it does add a spin to the story and add more tension and I guess... surprise.

As for Denjiro, it seems he actually did slash Komurosaki. I had wondered how exactly it was possible to fake a death in front of people, but it's only really possible to fake deaths when no one is around e.g. You go missing or you plant fake evidence in a place for people to find to come to the conclusion you're dead.

Regardless, Oda pulled it off very well.

If you read the spoilers, the reason why Kinemon couldn't believe him initially was because he had proven loyalty.

The person who made that video got it right, granted, their reasoning is not correct. In essence, he made a good guess.

There was no evidence or much hint.

He said Kanjuro telling Shinobu to calm down = His wanting Law to get cut? Looks more like he's actually trying to calm her down. That's what an ally does. Calms people down and stops them from acting irrational.

He says Hawkins using Kairoseki nails against Law is proof Kanjuro was the culprit. Hawkins fights with nails in general. Why wouldn't he have Kairoseki nails to fight DF users to begin with?

His reasoning is incorrect, there really was no hint or evidence.

It was literally Oda choosing to making Kanjuro the culprit which is why he had to make up new information that we didn't know about to explain why he was the culprit.

If Oda didn't say:
  • He was a Kurozumi.
  • An actor.
  • Wanted to die.

We'd at this point have no evidence as to why he's the culprit or likely the culprit.

You obviously didn't pay attention to the video. They was hella evidence. People just mad theybwere wrong.
1.Kanjuro lying about not being able to draw, but drawed a perfect Ussop fsce
2. Him having that gag when he was behind Kinemon pretending to be the bad guy sneaking up on him.
3. The Birds were right there to send messages has soon has they came back from time jump.
4. He literally used process of elimination. It couldn't be anyone, but Kanjuro.
