or he just collected information about Apoo's background before meeting with him to make an alliance? he's smart enough to do that, always check who you dealing with, especially if you're a member of the underworld

Apoo isn´t really wrong, what Kid and Killer expect from the previous alliance?
Because they beeing 4Supernovas teaming up against Shanks, it doesn´t really mean they had better chance.
Look right now at Luffy and co place, they struggel of alone against Headliners/Numbers(right now only one make his move), Zoro even mentioned how powerfull these guys are in number.
And most like in fact that the army around Queen isn´t even the whole squad, neither Queen do something.
We can all agree that the team around Luffy would get rekt if King+Queen+Jack and the Flyers would work each other to fight them, 4 Supernova would get rekt.
Kaido wouldn´t be even need and Kid really expect to take out Shanks with a small alliance?
They probably would get rekt already by Shanks crew before they could even see Shanks himself.

I expected the Numbers to look more demon or beast-like than that.
They are definitively below the Flying Six in the Beast Pirates hierarchy and are more like the BP's version of the Giant Squad in the Navy.

Apoo is being realistic and his words would have more weight if Oda portrayed the situations more seriously

Apoo: being in alliance doesn't guarantee a win against single yonko crew
