Why is wearing ear plugs cheating.

Is it also cheating if you rip off your cloth from your shirt and put it in your ears?

Is the only fair fight against Apoo a naked one?

Wait, are you also not supposed to cover you ears with hands? Is that cheating too?

So the only way to fight Apoo without cheating is to fight naked without arms? What about legs? Should those be cut down too?

:pepecafe:
Ear plug is outside material not your own weapon. Ripping cloth might be effective but not as effective as using ear plug. Covering your ears when you fight using hands or weapons that require hands to use that weapons is also a great nerf. Cannot fight effectively.

Luffy has advanced armament Haki( both versions), so he can attack apoo and destroy him from the inside out.

Combine that with Gear 2's teleport speed and jet Stomp gattling attack. Apoo would not stand a chance.
Luffy needs hands to use advanced CoA or attacks you mention above. Luffy cannot use his hands while Covering his ears. I think what Luffy needs to do is to tank Apoo's attack like Kidd did while attacking Apoo with his hands which is quiet difficult.

No, he does not need his hands to use Advanced Haki. He can shoot it out of any part of his limbs which include his legs.

He controls the flow of haki in his body.

Great chapter
Marco is back
Oda did good job with Apo(wasn't Humiliated) and Kid same
At end we are introduced to one of numbers,
We got more info to Onigashima
Big Mom and Chopper next chapther?
BMP two times in row fall from same spot
BM asking what port probably means that port is very very secret. I think it will have play role in future in this arc, so many times mentioned but to go in waist i don't think so

got no problem with that, Apoo is supposed to be strong, but he didn’t fainted, he didn’t got a lot of damage, nothing to be mad about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

but unreality enjoy the chemistry between the 3 idiots and the brain. They could be one crew. :D

Killer got the information how to deal with it, Katakuri will figure it too. Also, we have no idea how this dmg would apply on f.e. a mochi Body.
He will be damaged if he doesn't dodge it.

That was just an amazing chapter, top to bottom. I loved so much about it.

Luffy’s humor was on point, he actually had the audacity to tell someone else that he knew they would cause trouble. Zoro, Kid, and Killer’s reaction to him and each other was excellent.

Apoo’s ability now confuses me a bit. If it was only about hearing, why do the attacks from it occur on the outside of the body? Them putting their hands over their ears really stopped his power? Though, maybe that was just a gag and it’s only about being out of range, because Killer wasn’t covering his ears.

Nami was pretty good too, in the one scene we got her. I like how she’s just smiling widely in a situation where they’re in the most dangerous position they’ve ever been in. She’s grown a tremendous amount over the course of the story, and that’s one small, subtle way. Luffy’s had a huge impact on her, smiling just like he would. Chopper was also hilarious without saying anything. I love how all the samurai jumped into the water and only he was left there. His face was amazing. Can’t wait to see what comes of that. Also, remember when anyone tries to tell you that Sanji “loves” a certain someone, that he separated from the group in the middle of the most dangerous mission they’ve had to date to go look for prostitutes. Just saying.

Marco was the best part of the chapter to me. Seeing him is awesome, I really didn’t think he’d show up. I expected him to show up when Luffy went after Teach, but not now after he said he wouldn’t. I’m not complaining though. The earlier he’s here, the more time he spends with Luffy, which means a better chance of joining the crew, which, while it’s more of a hope for me than anything, I can see legitimate reasons behind it. His line was excellent though. “The next time you make it up here...it’s ages of ours might look a little different.” Gave me chills. Izo’s line about him was interesting as well, he truly has been out of commission since their loss to Teach.

Big Mom’s crew not making it up the waterfall in all this time is a bit strange, I wonder why Oda has kept them there. Maybe they lost the carp after the first fall and couldn’t find any more until now. I do think that their fall is purposeful though, and not just Oda screwing with them. Maybe something to do with Katakuri, if he isn’t there. A device of sorts to make them wait for him.

Oh, and the colorspread was great. The colors were vibrant and different. Zoro was knocked the fuck out while Sanji, Usopp, and Brook played music for Luffy and Nami who looked like they were on a date lol. Nice all around.

This was one of the best chapters in Wano, can’t wait for the next one.
Killer had a helmet on

With Marco here, doctor boys are complete. Marco, Law, Chopper.

Chopper might play an important role for curing Queen's plague as he showed in Udon.
Law might use his df to help Luffy.
Marco might use Flame of Rebirth against Kaido/King/BM Pirates(since few characters from alliance might fight BM Pirates beside Jinbei)

The Road To Harmony
A fun chapter.

I absolutely loved the beginning parts highlighting the chemistry of the two WG duos. Consider me a Kid Pirates fan now. I like these guys. Kid and Killer really are Luffy’s and Zoro’s contemporaries. Killer doing all he did as Kamazou for Kid’s sake is gonna have me root for him a little when I reread Wano and get to that snowy duel.

Apoo’s powers are formidable. If you don’t know the weaknesses, you can be be in serious danger. Though the weaknesses are quite crippling. Just have Kata around and let him give you a pair of these.

During the brothel bit, the place is decorated by wisteria flowers. Wisteria are quite common in Japan and hold several significances. One being good fortune. I wonder if meeting Linlin right here and now will turn out to be a blessing? I know lots of fans will hate where this will go, but I think we might see O-Lin return, Chopper serving as device to reactivate her memories. And if so, she will be a massive gain for the alliance.

Nami and the girls looking for Momo could lead to them encountering a F6. Both parties are searching for someone, so they’re bound to run into eachother. It’s good that Nami and co are heading out and doing things on their own. Never liked the suggestions they need to be looked after by a strong crewmate. They aren’t children.Though this was a clever means to also separate Nami from Linlin. Prevent Linlin from discovering Zeus right away.

The one part of this chapter I didn’t like was the BMPs still needing to climb the waterfall. There being faulty communications is a very lazy copout. The negligence for this crew all arc is appalling. It’s amateurish, really. “Character stay in one spot until I conveniently need you.” Oda’s always been pretty good at keeping the characters and plot moving even when they weren’t present, but these are symptoms of a bloated cast sometimes. I just figured Oda would do a better job of it. Especially since this alliance bit has become such a focal part of the arc.

Ok, moving on to Marco, Neko, and Izo, their arrival has significantly reduced how long I expect the arc to go. Every chess piece is now here. The loose ends have now been wrapped, and Marco’s words to the BMPs suggest Onigashima will really be the place for the decisive battle. I’m very happy for Izo’s and Neko’s arrival, and I felt if Izo didn’t arrive, the arc would feel incomplete. Marco has me a little shocked. I was convinced he wouldn’t arrive because of his exchange with Neko way towards the beginning of the arc. But he’s here, and I pay kudos to those who called it. Still would like an explanation for why he chose to come. Maybe something terrible happened to Weevil?
