Oda has made many characters magically disappear from the scene in crucial moments in wano.
Jack in act 1 kuri magically disappearing when Luffy fights Kaido.
Kyoshiro magically disappearing when Zoro protects Hiyori from the ninjas.
And now King and Jack magically not in the chapter when they should have been fighting the scabbards with Kaido this chapter.

It is Oden's godly Haki that made Enma so impossible to tame for even extremely competent CoA users like Hyogoro and Ashura Doji because Enma is used to Oden level Haki.

Fact that Zoro has tame Enma shows that his Haki is Oden level right now.
When he makes Enma permanently black, his Haki will surpass Oden's.
