When Zoro breaks into that Top Tier threshold, is when he is going to fight Mihawk. Low Top Tier vs High Top Tier, and Zoro will heavily struggle, and manage to pull off the win in the end. That's how Zoro's fights go...
If he beats King in this arc or manage to damage strongely Kaido, he will be able to fight Mihawk by the middle, or at worst end of the next arc imo

No... You look at Zoro through Luffy lenses... Take those off.
Zoro isnt shifting through gears and going from weak to strong.
His power is always the same except the finishers which happen literally at the very ending of the fight which is 1% of its duration.
Good luck coming up with an explanation what will propel Zoro from weak to top tier if you think he isnt top tier already.

I think you can find it in Ryo thread by Reborn, I believe.
Long story short, it is feat achieved through concentration outside of a fight.
What are you talking about? Zoro had to unlock the ability to cut steel in order to defeat Mr. 1. In order to defeat Ohm he had to tap into that ability once again, and hide behind Ohm's Iron wall to avoid his CoO to defeat him. And with Kaku he had to use Ashura at the very end of the fight to pull off the victory. He struggled against all three of those opponents leading up to defeating them.

Preskip, Luffy never powered up mid-fight. Oda has only been doing that post skip because he is showing us that it's not that easy to go from where they were preskip, to ready to take on Top Tiers post skip, just because they trained for two years. All of the Straw Hats still need to grow. He just uses Luffy to showcase that growth the most.

I'd rather have High Top Tier Zoro fight High Top Tier Mihawk and have Zoro vs Ryuma type fight.
Luffy vs katakuri is the kinda fight I generally find too cliche, not every fight has to be protagonist's journey, where he is getting dog walked 99% of the time and then suddenly eclipses in power mid fight.

I would rather have him show Mihawk vs Shanks flash back and show what the battle that "Shook the grand line" looks like and then have Zoro vs Mihawk duel surpass that and it becomes new legend.
It's possible that it goes like that, but it all depends on the context in how the fight is setup. I am interested in seeing how Oda goes about this fight, because he did apprentice under Nobuhiro Watskui after all, and that guy inadvertently made Kenshin's teacher way too powerful to the point where Kenshin would never be able to surpass him. So I am wondering if Oda made Zoro train under Mihawk as sort of an homage to the Teacher/student relationship to Himura and his Sensei, and to portray how he would have gone about having the Student surpass the Master.

The only difference is that ... they are pirates from different "crews" and therefore enemies, in any realistic work, but it's OP....

Well Kenshin's character arc did not necessarily revolve around surpassing his master, his master for all intents and purposes was just Kenshin's master.

Carrott hyped the sulong hard for them to end it like dogshit tbh, disappointed
Who cares about Carrot she trash.

I don't fucking understand why Inu and Neko didn't transform yet.

If they said something that they are too old or tired I will fucking cry laughing at Oda.

Did you miss Zoro outclassing Mr1 in literally every aspect? The moment he became able to cut steel, he neg diffed him.
He didnt tap into anything against Ohm, he was able to cut steel after Alabasta at will...
Asura was overkill, it neg diffed Kaku. The only reason why it was needed is because of Kaku's Yontoryu style.
Sure, he struggled, that's the core element of making it a good fight, however, doesnt change the fact that Zoro at his best in those fights is simply neg diffing all of them.

There was no build up for King vs Sanji. Sanji was just the next person to arrive to try to rescue Momo. King give zero f's who Sanji is. This wasn't a scenario where his friends were trying to escape and Sanji jumped in front of King to protect everyone. He was even using his RS invisibility to avoid a battle.

It's silly for people think that Sanji, who couldn't even damage P1 with his RS, will beat King, a much more powerful and deadlier opponent. Yes, I do believe the RS is Sanji's powerup but it's not that big of a powerup. When the chapter left then Sanji he was concerned King was going to put a hole in through his stomach because you couldn't escape. King was doing was just flying and pushing against Sanji with his beak, which hasn't showed to be razor sharp.

Flight is not a fighting style, but swordsmanship is. Characters in One piece use flight is used to either travel or to build momentum to produce powerful close range attacks. That includes using it to change the distances between opponents. Take a look at Sanji and his family for example. Doffy can only move to the air if he has clouds he can connect his strings to. Even Luffy was only using his flight ability to travel after Doffy after he was punching him across the island. That same power gave him no advantage over Cracker or Katakuri.

Well, I would definitely say flight is a fighting style, and it's definitely one with a distinct advantage. Sanji, Judge, and Dofy are regarded as specialists, King and Marco are pretty much the two most useful commanders in a fight, Kaido is called the strongest creature, and generally you get someone complaining or impressed by flying like when Dofy and Fujitora took off during the kidnapping of Law.

You have to give Sanji credit, King is a bad mf. I don't think any regular character can avoid getting pinned and crashed like that... Luffy got rushed by Ulti and opted for Gear 4, imagine if he had to deal with that mid air.

I've actually seen theories where fanatical zoro fans claimed that Zoro already surpassed and beat Mihawk during the timeskip and already claimed the title of worlds strongest swordsman 😂 and that we'll get a flashback of it lol.
That’s what happens when oda starves then from zoro fights. They become delusional and try to explain the lack of zoro fights. As is nick doing rn.

In order for Kenshin to succeed Hiko Seijuro as the successor to the Hiten Mitsurugi style he was suppose to surpass and kill him, as that is how the style was passed down down for Generations. But Watskui made Seijuro way too powerful, and had to come up with another means to pass the style onto Kenshin. It wasn't done like that on purpose.

Give us Sulong Neko and Inu because idiot has been hyping this for some time.
