I guess that's because of fact that those characters have a lot of haters. Like people hate even fact that chars like Nami will get fight and will defeat F6.

After someone like Kaido praising you and saying you aren't weak after getting beaten up, it shows you how massive hype you get. And that is the case Kaido still believe in Jack and say he should recover so he could fight soon again with him. I wouldn't surprise if Jack is up already in next chapter kicking around.

Jack is stronger than Cracker, Smoothie and Doffy.

Stronger is also a matter of match up. For now I think that Cracker can win, if Jack has some long range things he can wins this but for now advantage Cracker. Smoothie I don't know. She is indeed strong and has a better bounty than Cracker. I won't tell that early that Jack is better than her.
