It's not all too difficult to digest though. Pre Hogyoku Aizen was also more cautious and far more harder to hit (in OP world equivalent, top level CoO).

But then Aizen / Judge's son got Hogyoku / Raid Shit then after that they both changed. They become cocky and easier to hit. Thinking that their upgraded durability is a hot shit.
