Why didn't Apoo attacked Zoro just after Zoro slashed him then

But you can question the same for anybody who gets used as a hypetool like that... It's one of their main uses within the story, just like Maynard, Bellamy or Blueno himself. One big part of their character is their destiny to get trashed, as sad as it might sound.
And granted that Jack in hybrid form will be one hell of a gigantic monster, with insane durability and endurance, it's actually hype if Luffy just neg diffs him with FS and advCoA. It's not because Jack overall is a super powerful opponent for Luffy, but rather because those quirks (dura+endurance) are extraordinary on him, which would generate great hype for Luffy before facing Kaido.
IF it will even come to this.. Was just a thought anyway.
And yeah, I'm floating your boat. WsW definitely got the coolest. But it's probably not really THAT powerful comparatively.
And for King, he still got the best fruit imo. His stat boost will be very well balanced, while he has the abillity to fly = most versatiled. He somewhat has Drake's or WsW's fruits with the ability to fly. Pretty good honestly. He can easily evade stuff like Kuri's flowing mochi or Doffy's ever white with that.
