One Piece community destroyed my enjoyment for Manga in general.

I read One Piece for 10 years / Watch anime for 13 years and it took only 3 years after joining One Piece communities to make me consider dropping fews shows including One Piece.
What?? Why drop One Piece???

Not going to lie, after my first week here I wanted to leave :phoenixmarco: I came because I adore OP of course, and all I saw here was negativity, hate, complaints, moaning about this or that.

But then I realised nitpicking and banter only comes from caring a lot about something. I decided to embrace it like that, and I've been having a lot of fun since. That's why I accepted to help around.

And yes, reading something weekly and waiting for it is frustrating, so I understand the fandom.

Nothing was interesting me. Sometimes I was reading for 2 things and if they didn't happen I thought of the chapter as boring and totally forget why I fell in love with this series in the first place. My enjoyment went from 100 to 20 real quick.

Then stop reading and binge later. It's way better, I promise!
Nah. Reading weekly wasn't a problem. After joining community I started to care about things that I shouldn't be involved in a first place. I feel way better after my last break from the forum but it will take Oda's writing skills some effort to put a smile on my face once again. I think if Oda surprises me in this or upcoming year my love for this series might return to the fullest.

I never loved this series for power scaling or any of that shit. A community can change people.

Herd mentality is a real thing. If it bothers you that much - leave it. But know that we want you to stay :absojustice:

I will take a break from time to time to have my thought clean but unfortunately, I might be forced to leave the forum for some time after Sunday.

Life can flip in a matter of seconds:suresure:

The Grandmaster alone is what makes this manga worthy

Most of the rest not as much

@Seth Rollins

OP Communities are too time taking, my IRL life is getting demolished because of the time I spend in here. I'm basically killing my own real life. Lost all my friends, connections and even job possibilities. :P

6) You come back, just let the idiots talk in their respective threads and generally don't give a fuck about any toxic encounters anymore. You just troll them and laugh about it.
@Seth Rollins reach this phase and your problem is likely solved. You're not forced to partake in everything PL related or other toxic debates in a serious manner, just ignore what you don't feel you're invested in if you care more about enjoying story/plot in bulk.

Relax baby, you can avoid whatever stresses you out.

It's crazy remembering that couple years back i was awaiting for the chapters of so many manga to drop weekly/monthly, and besides that i was even reading/watching other Manga/Animes that were already finished.

Now it's just One piece and Kingdom that remained. For Kingdom i like the story, but dislike the community and with One Piece it's the opossite.

Honestly, i burned out of Anime and Manga a long time ago, dunno what it is, i'm definitely done once OP is over.
