Lol the guy who plays Usopp is pretty good at slingshotting.

But yh theyre obviously going for older actors. Tbh if they wanna market this for a world-wide audience....nobody wants to see a group of teenagers taking down all these organisations. Its unrealistic and can easily be seen as one of those lame teen dramas. So people crying about age should really stop.

We should be grateful that theyre actually sticking to the ethnicites that Oda picked. So far Zoro is Asian and Usopp is African.

Lewis Tan - Zoro

Heres his swordsmanship

Brandon Burgess - Usopp

Heres him slingshotting

Im good with the casting so far. All that really matters is if they can get the characters right.

this isn't confirmed though, right? I mean I wouldn't mind at all but sadly we don't have an official cast yet. Though I would love to knoow who's playing who

I don't really know. But I trust in the guy who added this.

But just in case, take it with a grain of salt. Even if it's real, some things could change depending on the director. The names of the attacks could be omitted if it doesn't work. Who knows.

Of course. I am currently reading through it and it is the fucking funniest thing I've read in a while, especially when it comes to Zoros scene

I read the whole thing and it does sound really promising to me. They added a lot of info. It doesn't sound all too PG to me but it sounds good. They only changed a small thing towards the end but if the CGI etc is good it does sound actually good. I hope this is the actual script.

Here some funny screenshots of some scenes

It has quite the OP lore and gives a good first insight on the different affiliations and groups, and without actually changing all too much for now. It looks actually interesting, yes
it dose ... this is the type of shit even fandom can enjoy ...

but again there are some problems in it ... "admiral garp"?

anyway .... I'm reading it ... for now ... it seem legit good ....

If all of that happens in one episode then the pacing seems pretty good. They could potentially do East Blue in 10 Episodes.

East Blue - Season 1
Alabasta Saga - Season 2
Skypeia Saga - Season 3
Ennies Lobby Saga - Season 4
Thriller Bark + Saboundy - Season 5
Ace Saga - Season 6

But Im gonna assume they might skip some arcs and major plot points.

- Kong and Sengoku respect and screen time .... love it
- Shanks is one telling the story .... love it
- Shanks respect the hell out of his old man ... love it
- Ben "he led our crew all over the world" ... interesting
- Shanks giving away his arm seem as good as it should be ... love it

Well it is just chapter 0-2 with a bunch of extra lore and information to give the whole thing a setting, but I can imagine it will have more plot in the following episodes.

Why do you think so? For now it looks good. I mean I can see if they change it to certain extents to make it fit the episodes just like in the anime sometimes. Also they will probably cut out some stuff like Gaimon etc. Things that are definitely not needed and the needed info can be put somewhere else

Probably cause early OP doesnt have as much cool scenes as later OP ( even if the story was better). So they might hurry ahead to the cooler sections. And the actors arent getting any younger, especially now cause they may start with an older cast. They cant afford to make 10 seasons, without the SHs cast being in their 30s-40s by the time EoS arrives.

That's true, yeah. Especially if they have a kid Luffy in the beginning and then later on about the ASL flashback it will be troublesome already as well

You guys think there's a way to adapt OP for a good live-action?

Pehaps the first part of East Blue could be good, as the enemies until Arlong are all humans with a more "normal" size, but as the series go on the world become more crazy with most of the character design, powers and the world visuals working only in comics, as they dont have the limitations of real world.

The aesthetics of OP are very dependend of the manga language, as Oda like to exagerated everything in his world and have a very unique look, even for the manga standarts.

I personaly think the series will be cringe to wach like The Witcher and Death Note, that are less hard to adapt, and even so Netflix failed.
