This chapter just proved how much of a monster Luffy is.

Luffy parellels Oden as the are both same age 19 when tearing things up. Oden became a Damaiyo at age 20 like Luffy will PK at age 20. Luffy has CoC and Voat like Oden.

Luffy parellels Garp as he does not use any weapons in combat, very strong CoA.

Luffy Parellels Roger as he shares the same dream to be free. Being Pirate King means to have the most freedom to both of them. Luffy also has CoC and Voat like Roger.

Luffy parellels Rocks in the ability to make powerful allies.

In Dressrossa
He bruised Fujitora with Gear 3 and BASIC ARMAMENT HAKI

Sabo could not due this in Dressrossa with Advanced Armament barrier Haki and the Mera Mersano Mi Devil fruit.

Zoro also used Advanced ARMAMEMT BARRIER HAKI to cut Pica while Luffy blew Pica's head with Gear 3rd and BASIC ARMAMENT HAKI.


In Whole Cake Island,

Luffy fought Cracker, for 11 hours, theb fought BiG Moms Enraged Army on a empty stomach, then fought Sanji.

He then only had 2 hours of sleep before fighting Katakuri for 9 hours in which he took many blows, got stabbed in the gut and continued to fight for 3 more hours.

Big Mom needed to USE HAKI to block Luffy's Gear 4 Boundman Kong Gun( weakest Gear 4 attack) with BASIC ARMAMENT Haki. It still SHOOK her arm despite her PUTTING her BODY L WEIGHT behind it.

In Wano
Now Add Adv CoA level1 Barrier Haki, with those attacks above. Gear 3 plus Adv CoA Barrier Haki.

Take it a step further and Add the most Adv CoA level 2- destroying tbings from the inside out.

Luffy has mastered Future Sight to katakuri level compared to how he was at WCI. Chapter 939, and 947

Luffy also did base strength training with seastone cuffs.

Luffy has never been able to traim his muscles due to him being made out of rubber.

A STRONGER BASE MEANS STRONGER GEARS.



Bottom Line- Add all these improvements means he is a monster.
