Stuff is actually happening in wano it's not just lazy panels with pure white undrawn background and nothing happening like all the early pre timeskip chapters
"Stuff is actually happening in wano" off-screen battles, people running then changing scenarios and running once again. Luffy getting defeated, saying it's coming back, getting defeated again, people dying then showing up alive just to die again. Oh yeah, a lot of things happening.

Chapter 1 had more emotion and story progress than whole raid.

Yeah a lot is happening and you're too small brained to follow the action. More plot and progress toward finding one piece has happened in onigashima than in the first 500 chapters of the manga

It's true. Pre timeskip is so slow and it was Oda just wasting time and dragging shit out for no reason and filling his chapters with blank space so he didn't have to draw as much. Now he actually realizes he can't waste decades on chapters where nothing happens, and every chapter is crammed with stuff happening and plot movement.
The summit war saga is 108 chapters. In this arc we got Soboady-> amazon lilly -> Amazon lilly -> impel down -> mf

In this saga we we're introduced to: Supernovas, Celestial dragons, Admiral Kizaru, Rayliegh, Whitbeard pirates, Boa Hancock., Jinbei and may more. This is just the tip of the iceberg to what this saga contained.

Now honestly compare the bloated Wano arc which is longer to the summit war saga.

The bolded text is one of the biggest issues with the ts one piece.

Wano is better than marineford aka "every minor nobody in the series does a move and Luffy watches" and then Ace the shitty Mary Sue character nobody cares about dies. More plot, better characters, better action, yasuie is more of a big deal than Ace was lol. The only good part of marineford was the ending and the timeskip training scenes. The war itself was boring as shit and just one guy nobody cares about doing a move on to the next guy nobody cares about doing a move

Do I need a big brain to understand that Ace flashbacks are completely irrelevant to the arc? People that were at Wano collecting information before Luffy comes in are completely waste of time because those informations had no use at all? People eating/drinking poison for years are completely irrelevant because Oda doesn't kill even random? Sumo battle and those "leaders" of each city are also irrelevant to the story.

I will agree with you, a lot have happening. Too bad nothing relevant have happening aside from Oden's flashback.
Until now I don't understand what the hell happened with Law, Hawkins and X-Drake. Why they waited until raid start to beat X-Drake and why they stabbed him instead of killing and letting him get away to help the raid.

Sorry dude, you will always fail when trying to defend Oda.

One Piece has never been as bad as it was in baratie and skypeia. As great as the events of those arcs were they're dragged out and filled with wasted time. Like why does Pearl even exist

See? Anybody can talk shit.
Pre time skip wasn't slow, it was solid, case have all those moments that TS don't have or skip...
While Wano is trash...I'm not intetesting in it at all

I won't defend KnY, but actually you can't blame people when they say that KnY is a masterpiece especially if they are just anime watcher. I mean without going to manga, KnY as anime/anime movie fulfilled all of checkbox to be considered at least "Good" anime production level. It did what One Piece (anime wise) couldn't ever do in 100 years.
bro masterpiece became so cheap these days if KnY is a masterpiece

Everyone who was in the community at the time disagrees. Skypiea and Enies Lobby in particular made the fandom explode with their terrible pacing
Dude is simple, take arcs lenght and their accomplishment. Skypea and Enies Lobby wasn't slow. Nowhere near Wano or even WCI or Dressrosa.

@Rocks D. Buggy You are saying that "Oda is avoiding overwork himself, and that's why less volumes are being released than before". You are denying reality.
A author can avoid overwork himself and at the same time write a story of quality. Oda is not doing this. Oda is writing One Piece without the qualities that once made people love the story and is losing fans increasingly.
One Piece is releasing new volumes as always. The difference is that the time between each new volume release is bigger than before. While other popular manga series are releasing new volumes, and the quality of their stories is consistent. So is fair that they outsell One Piece.
Ask to any people in this forum who follow other manga beyond One Piece. They can confirm to you that there are other manga series doing better than One Piece.

I wonder why top mangakas like Oda and the ones of HxH, Berserker(rest in peace) etc are not challenging the editors and magazines and giving themselves the time they think is appropriate to work with quality(means health).
Oda is already rich, he himself says that in some SBS's. OP until today is one of main drivers of Shounen Jump. He can do whatever he wants they will never drop him/OP. Just like HxH can drop for 2y+ and people still expect new chapters.

I'm just glad that Wingdom finally starts to overtake OP. Hopefully this will stay a trend (which I doubt).
Do you read and like Kingdom? I see so many people talking about it that I'm getting interested to start. But as I see the whole scenario of manga doesn't seem interesting to me.

I'm looking at it like just old era war with only sword, arrows and horses.

It depends on what you are looking for. The plot and characters tend to be the most important parts of a story to me, and that's what I love the most about Kingdom. The fights aren't as colourful as One Piece but there's still a lot of emotion and soul to be had.
